W THANKSGIVING W

Luke's first Thanksgiving was a great one!  We got to spend it in Fallon with my family, the Fraker family, and the missionaries came over.  We had a full house!
Kyle got to go into town and play in a Turkey Bowl with some guys he played basketball with, while Luke and I participated in the 1st annual Sorensen 5k Thanksgiving run.  I of course did not run, Tristin  and I walked with our kids while most everyone else ran!  After the race was over, it was at Kim and Aaron's house, Tonya, Billy, Cameron and I had a little hand stand contest.

I think Cameron won

After this we all went and got ready for our Thanksgiving lunch.. mmmmmm!  Unfortunately I was not thinking about picture taking during the festivities.  I was busy eating and playing a sweet card game with Tonya and the missionaries.
Later that night we played games and played a little trick on Billy and Cameron... ohh soooo funny!!

This is a game that my dad played when he was younger at church activities.  you pick out two unsuspecting victims...Billy and Cameron.  You have people who already know what the prank is 'play' first.  You have a cookie sheet filled with water and a toothpick.  The object is to blow the the toothpick to the other persons side of the cookie sheet.  Simple right?  Well watch what happens:

The look of determination

Oh soooo funny!

And this is how we ended our Thanksgiving night.  I am Thankful for two amazing younger brothers!

Apple Saucing/ juicing

We love being with our family.  Just recently the Sorensen side made some apple juice and we canned apple sauce.  My mom and dad have two apple trees in their backyard and they were so full of apples that the branches were sagging to the ground.  My mom, dad, Tonya, my brothers and their families all picked those trees bare and we had boxes and coolers filled with apples!  Oh Then the juicing and canning games began.  It took 4 days to just juice and can all of those puppies, but the fruits of our labors were so worth it!!

We know we're beautiful

Finally got the good one!

The canning process, lots of work!

1. Sorting through EVERY apple 2. cleaning    3. dumping              4. pressing

Picking through every one of those apples was super annoying!!
The apple juice is soooooo delicious, it made the annoying parts worth it.  We got about 50 Gallon bags at least of apple juice!
