9 MONTHS OLD!!!

9 Months old

I can’t believe my baby is 9 months old already, the time sure did fly by!  He has brought so much joy into our lives, and he brings a smile to our faces no matter what! We sure feel blessed to have such a sweet little spirit in our home.

D Luke now crawls forward! He looks like a little robot, but he is so much happier!

D His sleeping pattern is all out of whack.. boo

D He loves finding the smallest bits of anything on the floor and putting it in his mouth

DLuke is 29.5 inches long 85^th percentile.  Weighs 23 Lbs 87^th. And His head is 43 cm 10^th

Can't believe how much he's grown!

The night he turned 9 Months he scared us by waking up with this nasty cough, and a tough time breathing.  We ended up taking him to the ER, where they found nothing wrong with our little guy... I'm soo happy it was nothing, but it bothered us he sounded so weird.  Oh well. 

Called To Serve

Cameron Rascon Sorensen has been to called to serve in the San Pablo Philippines Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!!!  He will be reporting to the MTC in Provo on May 22nd 2013!  Cameron has waited a long time to get this call and he is sooo excited to get going!
We are all very sad that he will be leaving but we know it's where he is supposed to go.
My mom and dad wanted to surprise Cam with all of his siblings being there for when he opened his call... it came to Cedar City Utah.  He had no idea anyone but my mom and dad were going to come.  So they rented a 15 passenger van and Kyle, Luke, and I got to go!!  Gavin, Brayden, Tim, Kylan, Tonya, and Logan, and my mom and dad were also shoved in there!

Bill met us there with Aubrey and Kylie Sloan. It was a quick 3 day trip, including travel time, but it was soooo worth the many hours in the van to see the look on Camerons face when he opened his door and found us all there!!
Cam called and called and called my mom all Day Friday to find out when they were going to be there, and rebuked her for not leaving early enough.. Little did he know that we all had to wait for everybody to get off of work!  He understood as soon as he opened that door why he had to wait until 2:00 am to open his call.  It was so special for us all to be there.  I just love this kid!!

We all stayed at a missionary's house that served in Fallon when my dad was the ward mission leader, our family got very close to elder Zortman!  Their house is awesome, we stayed in the baasement and there was plenty of room for all of us!

My slightly crazy husband jumped in the River that was running along the trail.. He did it for 10$.  He was slightly cold after this.  

Driving back into Cedar.. I guess going to sleep at 3:30 and waking up early takes a toll.  

After our hike we went to Costa Vida... MMMMMMM much love there.  Then we all headed back to the Zortmans to play games, which I sadly slept through.  Then the next morning we all had to leave.  :(

C HE’S BEEN SITTING UP ON HIS OWN FOR A  COUPLE MONTHS NOW!

C HE HAS STARTED EATING TONS OF OAT MEAL CERAL, AND LOVES IT!!

CLUKE LIKES PEAS, PEARS, SWEET POTATO, AND BLUEBERRY RICE PUFFS 

CLUKE WILL CRAWL, BUT ONLY BACKWARDS... HE GETS VERY FRUSTRATED THE FURTHER HE GETS FROM HIS TOYS.. SILLY KID. AND HE REALLY CRAWLS

CHE LOVES DRINKING WATER FROM HIS SIPPY, AND SPILLING IT ALL DOWN HIS SHIRT FOR FUN.

CHE HAS GOTTEN REALLY SICK FOR THE FIRST TIME, THAT WAS NOT FUN.. 

CLUKE LIKES TO SWING, BUT ONLY FOR A LITTLE BIT.

CMY FAVORITE: HE SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT!!

CHIS SCHEDULE as of now.. GOES TO SLEEP AROUND 6:30 AND WILL SLEEP TIL ABOUT 7:00.  IF HE WAKES UP IT’S AROUND 4:30 AND HE’LL GO BACK TO SLEEP TIL 8:00.  IT’S A BEAUTIFUL THING 

CLUKE IS 28 INCHES LONG AND IS IN THE 80^TH PERCENTILE, 22 LBS IN THE 93^RD PERCENTILE, AND HIS HEAD IS 43 CM IN THE 15^TH PERCENTILE.

WE HAVE A GROWING HAPPY AND HEALTHY BABY AND WE FEEL SO BLESSED HE IS OURS!!
