Easter/ Colorado

We had a really wonderful Easter and Trip to Colorado to visit the Lewis family!  Luke's first Easter egg hunt was the  Friday before Easter at grandma and grandpas house out in Fallon.  We had it before we headed off to Utah with Rach and her kiddos!  It was lots and lots of fun, and we had a yummy brunch to go along with it!

Grandma letting the kids know what the true meaning of Easter is before they go off on their hunt.

Cora and Luke after he found all his eggs.

The 13 Sorensen grandchildren!
Kyle has more pics of Luke on his phone!

Then after this we were off to Utah to stay with Tonya and to see Bill, and Karly!
I sadly did not take any pictures when we were in Utah, but we had a lot of fun while we were there.  We got to Tonya's at about 10:00 and Bill came to over and we had a big sleep over in the living room!
The next day Karly came over and we all went to Deseret Book, and then to Cafe Zupas to eat before we headed out to Colorado.
Luke and the rest of the kids did really well on our first 8 hour stretch, but the second was not so successful... but we got through it!  Kyle flew in earlier on Saturday, and Luke was very happy to see his daddy! Kyle had to leave on Tuesday to get back to work... We missed him until Saturday.  But we had soooo much fun being with the Lewis familia!!

Easter Sunday we had another Easter egg hunt, and then went to church.  After that we went over to Steve's parents house to have Easter dinner, and just hung out.

Luke's cute Easter outfit Grandma and grandpa Tetzel gave him

I went and ate lunch with Cora at her school one day

Rachel, Carson, Luke, and I went to the Denver zoo.  It was so much fun!

Luke kept this hat on for all of 2 minutes...

Braylon, Cora, and Landon were sooo good with Luke! We never had a dull minute!

Before I left I got to have dinner with my friend Emily Dantiz(Donaldson) from our college volleyball days.  I didn't get a picture but we had a really nice night catching up!  After that Rachel, Steve, and I went and played volleyball at their church building with some of their friends.  That was soo much fun. Then at 10:00 that night Rach and I went and saw The Host, which I was a big fan of!
Then sadly the next day we had to leave, I was happy to see Kyle and so was Luke!!

Our flight home was amazing, 2 hours compared to 16... no brainer for next time!!  Luke did so well on the flight home.  We sat next to some younger girls that played with Luke when he woke up.  It was nice to be home!  When Luke saw Kyle he got the BIGGEST smile on his face and got sooo excited to see his dad.. it was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen.  There was even an older lady who came up to us and said that that was the sweetest homecoming she's ever seen... I love Kyle soooo much!!

Kyle reading to Luke while we're waiting for the Dr.

The night he turned 9 Months he scared us by waking up with this nasty cough, and a tough time breathing.  We ended up taking him to the ER, where they found nothing wrong with our little guy... I'm soo happy it was nothing, but it bothered us he sounded so weird.  Oh well.

Called To Serve
Cameron Rascon Sorensen has been to called to serve in the San Pablo Philippines Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!!!  He will be reporting to the MTC in Provo on May 22nd 2013!  Cameron has waited a long time to get this call and he is sooo excited to get going!
We are all very sad that he will be leaving but we know it's where he is supposed to go.
My mom and dad wanted to surprise Cam with all of his siblings being there for when he opened his call... it came to Cedar City Utah.  He had no idea anyone but my mom and dad were going to come.  So they rented a 15 passenger van and Kyle, Luke, and I got to go!!  Gavin, Brayden, Tim, Kylan, Tonya, and Logan, and my mom and dad were also shoved in there!

Bill met us there with Aubrey and Kylie Sloan. It was a quick 3 day trip, including travel time, but it was soooo worth the many hours in the van to see the look on Camerons face when he opened his door and found us all there!!
Cam called and called and called my mom all Day Friday to find out when they were going to be there, and rebuked her for not leaving early enough.. Little did he know that we all had to wait for everybody to get off of work!  He understood as soon as he opened that door why he had to wait until 2:00 am to open his call.  It was so special for us all to be there.  I just love this kid!!

Cameron the morning after he opened his call!

We all stayed at a missionary's house that served in Fallon when my dad was the ward mission leader, our family got very close to elder Zortman!  Their house is awesome, we stayed in the baasement and there was plenty of room for all of us!

Hanging out

The next morning we all went to Zion's National Park, I LOVE that place!

My slightly crazy husband jumped in the River that was running along the trail.. He did it for 10$.  He was slightly cold after this.

Driving back into Cedar.. I guess going to sleep at 3:30 and waking up early takes a toll.
After our hike we went to Costa Vida... MMMMMMM much love there.  Then we all headed back to the Zortmans to play games, which I sadly slept through.  Then the next morning we all had to leave.  :(

Luke wanted to drive

It was so nice to be able to spend that time with Cameron, and I am sooooo happy that we got to share that amazing moment with him.
WE LOVE YOU CAMERON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
