We're having a baby!

We spent our third Thanksgiving in Auburn this year.  Kyle and I were able to be there for like 5 days!  It was wonderful!  Not only did we get have a wonderful Thanksgiving, but Kyle's little sister Kayla was baptized on Saturday the 26th.  What a wonderful day that was!  The whole family were able to be together.  Most of us played in the Turkey Bowl, as a family we played soccer, and basketball, and we were able to go to Konner's game.  He is playing for Sac State, so we are going to be able to see a lot more his games this year!

On October 1st 2011 Kyle and I found out that we are going to be parents!  Seeing that little positive sign on that stick was one of the most amazing and relieving feelings we've ever had.  Lots of feelings were coming over both of us I think.  Pure joy and then after a little while a little nervousness set in, that probably won't ever leave us.  I realized that day that in 9 months I'm going to be in a lot of pain, but thought quickly passed as I thought of the many many many many happy times that are coming our way.  Kyle said that he felt really nervous about actually becoming a dad, which he will be the best at!  I am just soooooo happy that all of the bloating in the world wont dampen my spirits, and there is a lot of that!
As of today I am about 15 weeks along, so we announced to the world that I am pregnant.  We are very blessed to have so many wonderful friends!  Here is the picture that we posted to show everyone.

The same day we found that I'm pregnant we found out someone else is pregnant and due 2 days before me...

Yep Kyle's dad and step mom are going to have one more baby.  I think we're hoping that they have a boy, so Kyle can have a brother.  But if they have another Mackenna who could complain?  I have a couple other friends that are going to be having babies around the same time.  What a beautiful life we have!

So far I have had two appointments, at the first we got to see our little kidney bean.. at the time, and the last one I had on the 23 of Nov I got the hear the babies heartbeat!!  That was an amazing sound!  I'm going to start posting pictures every week, now that I am starting to show.  I'm not too big, until I eat then it's pretty clear that I have a baby bump.

So far in this pregnancy:
Symptoms: Nauseous in the mornings( that only lasted about 3 weeks) lucky me!  BLOATING, when I eat anything greasy, salty, or some random thing that this kid does not like; congestion, headaches.  Not too bad I think
Cravings: Not anything sweet surprisingly, I would rather have more dinner than dessert, plus it bloats me anyways sooo not too appetizing right now.  The one sweet thing, and my biggest craving are smiles fruit snacks from Walmart.  I don't what it is but I can't get enough of those wonderful smiles!

How I've felt this week, and what we've done:
I haven't been too bloated this week.  My thoughts about motherhood right now:  If we have a girl I hope she plays volleyball, and I need to get a flu shot.  Kyle would like a boy so that we get  that out of the way he says.  This week, I've worked, forgot about a meeting for church, went to an ugly sweater party, and went and found a Christmas tree with my family.  It was a good week.

Campout at the Lake in Fallon, Sara and Kyle walking through the corn

We had several campouts this summer in Auburn and at the lake!  We love it!!  These first pictures are of Kyle and Sara walking through the corn field at the back of my house in Fallon.  They had never done this before!  And the other pictures are of us camping out.

Sipherd Family Campout

A tradition that has begun in the Sipherd family is a campout during the summer at Shellies house!  We set up tents in the back yard, and have dinner and stay up til the wee hours of the morning playing night games.  It is a fun night that I think the whole family looks forward to!
